Pollution has blackened the spires of St Vitas Cathedral. The current building replacing earlier structures started in the 1300s but amazingly it was never quite finished until its official opening in 1929. Due to its many architects there are parts of it that are Gothic, some Renaissance and other sections built in the Baroque style.
